Mary and Mark were a pleasure to work with, so relaxed throughout their wedding cake journey. They choose to go with one of my classic three tier designs and we personalised it with their own monogram and coordinating sugar flowers. It looked stunning in the bay window with Lough Eske as its backdrop.
"Emma made our beautiful cake for our wedding back in October. I found Emma whilst searching for cake makers online and knew straight away that Emma's elegant yet unique style was exactly what we were looking for.
Everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment I contacted Emma she was very friendly and professional. Emma made us so welcome at our consultation. It gave us a chance to sit down together and look at her past designs as well as a chance to taste her wonderful flavours. Emma gave us a box of flavoured cupcakes to take home and we were able to share these with family and hear their preference on flavours; this was a lovely touch. We decided on raspberry and white chocolate, Maltesers tray bake and vanilla cream for our cake. Our guests loved the flavours and poor Mark didn’t even get any of the tray bake he had been so looking forward to as our guests all beat him to it!
Finally, our finished wedding cake was absolutely stunning. It looked just perfect against the backdrop of Lough Eske. Our cake was beautifully designed with delicate flowers that matched my bouquet. I had sent Emma on some photos of the flowers that would be in my bouquet and she crafted them perfectly so much so everyone thought the flowers were real. Emma created a beautiful gold monogram for us and the gorgeous rose, burgundy and gold tones in our cake were stunning, it tied together so well with my bridesmaids’ dresses and our flowers.
