Amy contacted me around 6 months before her wedding. She had seen a design I had made a while before and knew something like it would be the perfect focal point for their reception. It was one of my original six tier designs that they loved but I wanted to make it customised just for them. So we changed up the layout, added in more intricate detailing and LOTS of fresh florals.
I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of David McConkey and his team's amazing floral arrangements at the chapel, as I made a detour there to collect the flowers for me to arrange on the cake. I took a walk into the chapel...OMG the smell of the peonies was amazing! It really did look and smell so luxurious.
Assembling this beauty was always going to be a challenge...I'm only 5ft and this cake towered over me. I was so glad that I'd took my step ladder and an my sister-in-law to help me. It only took us about 3 hours to stack, fully dress the cake and around the base. I'm so grateful that the talented Jenny McCarthy of Photosbyjen was there to capture this truly dreamy wedding cake for me, as I'm certainly no professional with a camera.

Amy and Ross's whole day really was like a fairytale wedding, from the stunning venue, the amazing fresh flowers to the fantastic fireworks to end the night.
"Emma was easily accessible on phone and email to book our initial cake design. She had a lovely friendly way about her which made us instantly bond. She is professional and experienced and knows what she is talking about. She took on board my request to make Oreo cake and was able to make a sample in advance of us coming. Our cake was delivered to the K club and set up it was beautiful; thank you! Got so many compliments on the night for the cake being so delicious and such a centre piece! Thanks again for everything."
